Charlie Kanan Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, and Board of Director with proven experience in a variety of industries.  He is known for consistently building brands, increasing revenue and profitability, and building shareholder value.  Senior Executive - As a senior executive with The Pillsbury Company, he held the positions of Sr. Vice President of Operations for Burger King Corporation and President of Haagen-Dazs, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Pillsbury. As President of Haagen-Dazs, he successfully engineered a business turnaround and executed the game plan that made Haagen-Dazs the world’s best, and most recognized, frozen dessert in the world. He was also Executive Vice President of Miracle-Ear, and President of Play It Again Sports.  During his tenure as President, revenues increased from $90 million to $280 million.  Store level sales increased from $350,000 to $585,000.  Entrepreneur - As an entrepreneur he was a multiple store owner and franchisee of Burger King and Haagen-Dazs, owned his own franchise consulting business, and currently operates his own marketing consulting practice a license agreement with Y2Marketing – a marketing firm that specializes in separating your business from the competition through a licensed system titled Monopolize Your Marketplace.  Board of Director Charlie has served on the Board of Directors of Great Clips Inc. and The National Sporting Goods Association.  Charlie now utilizes his corporate background, entrepreneurial business success, and the Monopolize Your Marketplace System to lead and guide other companies to increase revenue, achieve profitable growth, and increase shareholder value. mailto:ckanan@kananmarketing.com
